Taif Rose 2026

There are roses that are beautiful.

And then there is Taif rose.

This oil was distilled in 2026, directly from roses grown in Taif, and sourced directly from the region itself.

What I love about fresh Taif rose oil is the power.

The opening is bright and clean, with a slight green character. Then the rose begins to open into something richer, with a soft honeyed quality and a subtle peppery nuance that gives Taif its distinctive character.

As it settles on the skin, the rose becomes softer, more powdery, and incredibly persistent.

This is not a delicate rose.

This is a rose with presence.

Even in very small amounts, Taif can transform a composition in a way that many other rose oils simply cannot.

In my own work, I often find that I need much less Taif rose to create the same impact I would normally expect from a larger amount of another rose oil.

That is one of the reasons I use it in Ghalias and many of my other compositions.

It gives power without losing elegance.

It gives brightness without becoming sharp.

And it gives depth while still keeping the rose itself completely recognizable.

This particular 2026 batch is also especially important to me because the harvest was more limited, with less rainfall in the Taif region during the year.

That makes access to truly exceptional fresh oil even more difficult.

And with Taif rose, freshness matters.

Freshly distilled oil carries a brightness, lift, and intensity that I find especially beautiful.

For me, this is exactly what I want from Taif.

Clean. Bright. Honeyed. Powdery. Powerful.

You can wear it by itself.

You can use it for layering.

Or you can use it inside a composition where even a small amount is enough to transform everything around it.
